Antique Dark Amber-colored Annular Wound Dogon Donut Trade Beads M00263_DBR

This is a strand of antique European Dogon wound annular Trade beads in rare dark amber or dark ale color.  Frequently referred to as "Dutch Dogon Donuts", they are likely not Dutch,  but are traded by Dutch traders and favored by the Dogon people of West Africa.  Their place of manufacture in Europe is not precisely known, although they likely come from Germany.  Condition:  They are in good antique condition. Some may have age-appropriate nicks and chips. Please see the photos for specifics. Beads are approximately 11-14mm in diameter, with approximately a 6mm hole.
