This listing is for one short strand of Antique African Trade glass beads frequently referred to as Dutch Dogon, as they were very popular among the Dogon people, but they may have been produced elsewhere in Europe, such as in Bohemia, Germany, and Venice. This strand is of a range of light hues from nearly clear to desirable light lilacs and purples, with a few beads in green. There are two strands available, you can choose the desired option at checkout. Strand A: Beads range from approximately 9mm - 23mm x 12mm - 24mm, 4 mm hole. Strand is 12 inches without raffia with 18 beads. Weighing 121 grams per strand. Strand B: Beads range from approximately 7mm - 21mm x 13mm - 22mm, 5 mm hole. Strand is 14 inches without raffia with 22 beads. Weighing 128 grams per strand. These are very old beads with excavation patina on them, some beads may be chipped, and in general, the beads show appropriate age wear. Please examine the photos for detail.
