A long 34" strand of antique Venetian African Trade "Cornaline D'Aleppo" beads, intermixed with desirable Dutch Dogon crystal beads of various hues.  Cornaline D'Aleppo are multilayered Venetian beads, also referred to as the white heart. The name means "carnelians of Aleppo" as the color of these typically brick-red beads emulates that of carnelian.  The white heart in the name refers to a white, ivory, or sometimes yellowish interior layer.
