19th Century French Louis XVI Style Gilded Settee W/ Green Floral Velvet

An exquisite mid-19th-century French 3-seater settee sofa made in the style of Louis XVI, sourced from Provence, France. Handcrafted from solid gilded wood, the settee boasts a solid hand-crafted frame with a square-shaped back featuring intricately hand-carved trims, showcasing a naturally aged patina. The settee has been structurally restored with fully redone springs. It comes with its original luxurious hand-cut floral velvet fabric showcasing normal wear for the age and use. The fabric has been clean-finished with nailhead trim. The three-seater settee is supported by six elegantly tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with molded rosettes on the corners.
