19th Century Country French Louis XV Painted Provincial Loveseat or Settee

Late 19th-century French provincial painted loveseat or settee made in the style of Louis XV, from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid wood featuring a hand-molded oval-shaped back finished in a pastel blue lacquer with dull sienna paint around the moldings and edge of the frame. The paint showcases a naturally aged patina with some distressed areas. The loveseat is upholstered in tufted floral fabric and clean-finished with lace trim. Supported on graceful cabriole legs ending in scrolled French toes. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a traditional French Louis XV provincial profile.  - Origin: Provence, France - Dimensions: W 59” x D 27” x H 36.5”  - seat height 17"/ arm height 25.25"  - Seat interior: W 55" x D 20.5" - Condition: In preserved antique condition showcasing naturally aged patina on the wood finish with some distressed areas.
