An elegant 19th-century country French provincial writing desk made in the style of Louis XV, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak featuring a 5'5" rectangular, framed top with round corners. The desk is fronted with two storage drawers constructed with dovetail joins and brass pulls. The apron clearance measures 25" from the floor to the bottom of the front apron. The back of the desk showcases an exquisite hand-carved work depicting a floral composition. The desk is raised on elegant cabriole legs ending with carved toes.
