Antique French Louis XVI Style Painted Loveseat W/ Floral Velvet

A lovely late 19th-century French loveseat made in the style of Louis XVI, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid wood featuring a hand-molded oval-shaped medallion back decorated with intricate hand-carved edge. The frame has been finished in a creamy white lacquer showcasing a naturally aged patina. The settee has been previously reupholstered in France in a gorgeous printed dark blue velvet with a yellow Ginkgo leaf pattern. The fabric has been clean-finished with yellow double-piping trim. The loveseat is supported by four elegantly tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for the Louis XVI style. The legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners.
