Dried Abalone

Dalian is the origin for the highest quality abalone in China. This dried abalone is about 45 pieces per pound. Abalone has rich, flavorful, and highly prized meat that is considered a culinary delicacy. Abalone provides high quality protein with all the essential dietary amino acids for the maintenance and growth of the human body; it is also low in fat and a good source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.   Soaking: Wash the abalone and soak in the purified water for 1 day Bring a pot of water to boil. Cook the soaked abalone for 30 minutes. Turn off the stove and let it cool down before putting in the fridge and soak for another 8 hours. Clean the guts out and wash again Soak in a oil-free container full of purified water for another 1-2 days until tender PS: A large amount of abalone can be soaked at once and then leave in the freezer for storage.
