Crushed Red Jasper Powder (Grade A) from South Africa, Fine Crush (<0.25mm)

Jasper is composed of micro-crystalline quartz that can come in a variety of different colors and textures. This wide color variation is mainly due to impurities and trace elements within the crystalline lattice. For red jasper, the trace element that gives it its distinct color is iron. This particular red jasper is very high-quality with consistent color and is from South Africa. Our powdered material consists of mostly silt and clay sized particles. Our powders do have a slight grit to them. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
