19th Century French Napoleon III Style Oak Writing Desk

An elegant late 19th-century French writing desk in the style of Napoleon III sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak and constructed with a 4'2" rectangular plank top decorated with gadrooned edge trim. The wood showcases a naturally aged warm patina with a rich brown color and wood grains with intricate carvings on all sides. The desk is cased with a total of four storage drawers. - all constructed with dovetail joints. The table is raised on elaborately hand-carved tapered legs decorated with carved acanthus leaf accents.
