Early 19th-century French writing desk or side table made in the style of Louis XIII, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut wood featuring a rectangular plank top with a beveled edge. The wood showcases a naturally aged dark patina with a rich brown color. The desk has one storage drawer constructed with dovetail joints and a wrought iron handle. The table is raised on elegant hand-carved turned legs constructed with exposed wooden dowels. The legs are conjoined with a solid carved trestle.
