Supervisor Beginner

Bundle Description  Learners on this pathway prepare to move into supervisory roles by focusing on effective communication and listening skills.  These courses will introduce the learner to communication, exploring the difference between verbal, written, and nonverbal communication, focusing on effectiveness.  This bundle of courses also focuses on listening skills.  This bundle consists of six courses.  Bundle Objectives  List forms of communication and the barriers to them Understand the consequences of miscommunication  Describe how to communicate face-to-face, by phone, and in written form Describe nonverbal communication, interpret body language, and list ways to covey openness Understand the importance of listening  Describe common types of listening Explain the importance of listening skills for effective communication Bundle Duration    5.5 hours Audience  New industry professionals, technologists, college students, and high school students Requisite Knowledge:  None
