This reindeer hat is a super festive knit and fun quick knit—perfect for last minute holiday gift knitting. The reindeer prancing around the hat make me happy just to look at. The original colors are grey and red and the values are very similar, so if you print this pattern in black and white, it will be hard to see the colorwork in the pattern cover photo. I like this subtle color variation for such a bold pattern, but it would also look great knit with starker contrasting colors. I'd love to see it in a high contrast red and white.
