If you are a collector, you are going to want to snag these! with all of the delicate details an antique silverplate treasure should have, this set of 4 sheffield Silver salt cellars was made by Mappin Brothers as early as 1850. They feature a delicate fluted bowl that sits on a square base supported by four round ball feet. The handles on each side feature a lion's head that holds a ring in its mouth. They sport the classic Sheffield lion engraving. Excellent antique condition. One has a small amount of wear inside the bowl.They are 3.25" tall. This listing is for the four salt cellars - the three shakers are listed separately.
