Wow! Another 1800's treasure! A set of three Sheffield Silver shakers made by Mappin Brothers as early as 1850. These are so elegant, and the age and hand-made quality is apparent just be looking at these! The base has a fluting detail that flows into a square base supported by four ball feet. The classic English Sheffield lion adorns each shaker and a lion appears on each side holding a ring in its mouth. The lid of each shaker is gracefully etched. Exquisite detail on the heavy silverplating on copper on these! One shaker sits a little unevenly but otherwise excellent condition. They are 7.5" tall. This price is for the set of 3. The salt cellars are listed separately.
