This is a good short to medium length fiber, it handles well and is very suitable for reinforcing liquid resin mixes (epoxy or polyester), which is what most of it is used for. It is a "second", a product that is out of spec, so it is less expensive. It varies from 1/4" to 5/16" long. We also have nylon and other synthetic fibers, which are much more flexible than glass fibers. Both glass and carbon fiber give maximum rigidity to a finished product.
