This product is very specialized. It's a 3rd party modifier for any brand of alginate. The makers were on their toes when they made the default dispenser a sprayer, which is the quickest way to get it on a sheet of solid alginate. There are cases where brushing it is necessary. Cases where you *want* it to not stick to itself. The makers recommend spraying a light coat to the layer of alginate just applied *before* it has set up. This gives you additional time to push fiber into the layer. Some will still be sticking out for the next layer to grab so you'll have a complete thickness of fiber almost throughout the entire mold......(see more)
