'Til Tuesday Voices Carry Epic Records Label Award

Epic Records label award for the 'Til Tuesday album Voices Carry "platinum" album. Released on April 20, 1985, the album was indeed certified Gold by the RIAA on Sept. 11, 1985 for 500,000 copies sold. Note: This is not a RIAA award. 'Til Tuesday's title track from this album broke the band by rising to #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and garnering the act an MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist after the video for the track was played heavy rotation on MTV.
