Epic Records Award for Europe album The Final Countdown. The group's third album became a breakthrough, especially in the U.S. It was released on May 30, 1986 and this record label award celebrates it reaching the one million copies sold.  Hits from the album included the title track (which reached #1 in many countries worldwide, and #8 on the Billboard Hot 100), "Love Chaser", "Rock the Night", "Carrie", and "Cherokee." The album itself also peaked at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, and charted worldwide. The album has been certified 3x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA (note that this is not an RIAA award).
