Crushed Creamy White Moonstone Sand (Grade A) from India, Medium Sand (0.25mm-2mm)

Moonstone is a type of white feldspar that can have a pearl opalescence or a flash of white. This optical effect is due to light waves interacting within the crystalline lattice and this "play of light" is called the schiller effect. This particular moonstone is from India and is grade A material. Moonstone is also the official birthstone for June.   Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters.
