Crushed White Moonstone Powder (Grade A) from India, Fine Crush (<0.25mm)

Moonstone is a type of white feldspar that can have a pearl opalescence or a flash of white. This optical effect is due to light waves interacting within the crystalline lattice and this "play of light" is called the schiller effect. This particular moonstone is from India and is grade A material. Unfortunately, the moonstone flash is not preserved when the mineral has been progressively pulverized into tiny pieces. Moonstone is also the official birthstone for June.  Our powdered material consists of mostly silt and clay sized particles. Our powders do have a slight grit to them.
