Unakite is a type of altered granite composed of pink feldspar and green epidote. This rock was originally found in the Unaka mountain range of North Carolina (United States); however, it can be found in many locations all over the world. This particular unakite is from South Africa and features a lovely balance of pink and green tones. Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters.
