Crushed Red Jasper Chips (Grade A) from South Africa, Pea-Sized Gravel (2mm-4mm)

Jasper is composed of micro-crystalline quartz that can come in a variety of different colors and textures. This wide color variation is mainly due to impurities and trace elements within the crystalline lattice. For red jasper, the trace element that gives it its distinct color is iron. This particular red jasper is very high-quality with consistent color and is from South Africa. Our coarse material is considered to be pea- sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters.
