Buddstone, also known as South African Jade, is a variety of green chalcedony with numerous inclusions of a green mica called fuchsite. This particular buddstone is from South Africa and has a bright, candy apple green color. This material is very clean and would be great for projects that demand a natural pop of color. Our coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
