Apatite is a calcium phosphate mineral that is naturally found in a variety of colors. This crushed apatite is from Brazil and has a beautiful, deep blue color. Apatite is a relatively soft mineral with a Moh's hardness of 5; therefore, it is a good pick for your woodworking projects. This crushed material is extremely clean and is premium quality apatite. Our coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
