19th Century Oak Desktop Bureau with Japanned Hardware

Antique wooden desktop bureau with mirror and shelving. This piece features four drawers of uniform size, and one large drawer, that each feature a japanned copper pull. On top of the sets of drawers is a small surface, above which the mirror hangs; the mirror features a contrasting greenish stain that sets it apart from the rest of the piece. Flocking either side of the mirror are two corner shelves for extra trinket storage. Included is a small piece of ephemera in the form of a letter, dating this piece to the late 19th century. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some minor scratches and tarnish on the mirror silvering.
