Late 19th Century American Oak Partners Desk
Antique wooden banking partner desk. This piece is known as a partners desk and gets its name from the ability to host two bankers at once. The central cash drawer would have been utilized by both bank workers, while each person also had their own drawer on each side. In addition, there are three drawers that run along the pedestal's left side while a large storage cabinet is on the right side. The desktop slants downwards towards the user to provide an adequate writing surface. Restored in-shop. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some scratches/scuffs and stains and the cabinet door does not latch; it can be shut into place, but has trouble staying completely closed. 76.75" W x 30" D x 46" H Upper drawers (x3): 20.25" W x 22" D x 4" H Side drawers (x3): 20.5"W x 18"D in descending order the drawers each measure 7"H, 7"H, 9"H Cabinet: 19.5"W x 20"D x 30.25" H (split by a shelf, 12" H and 18.25" H) Please refer to photos regarding condition.
