size juvies, around 1” Another unusual dead leaf mantis from Southeast Asia that has perfect camouflage to blend in with the forest floor leaf litter. These cryptic mantis comes from high humidity forest of Thailand, Borneo, Indonesia and some of the other surrounding countries. Reaches 2.5” - 3” as adults. Like all mantises, provide a tall enclosure with branches to hang from when they molt. This species was described in 1838 by French entomologists Félix Édouard Guérin-Méneville.
