size 2nd instar to 3rd instar. Around 1” Incredible dead leaf mantis from Southeast Asia. These mantises have perfect camouflage to blend in with the leaf litter on the bottom of the forest floors. They come from high humidity areas and should have tall enclosures with enough room to hang when they molt. Awesome mantises that will flare up when disturbed to make themselves looker bigger then they appear. Described in 1843 by French entomologist Félix Édouard Guérin-Méneville.
