This is a one session class: Saturday, August 16th, 1:30-4:30pm Course DescriptionLearn to incorporate beads into your knitting. The techniques can be used to add beads to yourshawls and sweaters, to make small beaded bags to wear as necklaces, to make beaded purses, orto embellish any of your knitting projects. This is easy and fun, and will impress your friends!We will knit a small sampler purse to learn four different techniques. PrerequisitesKnit, purl, cast on, bind off. Skills LearnedFour methods of adding beads to knitting. SuppliesApproximately 1 oz smooth, light-colored yarn (preferably tightly spun; no single-ply yarn) inDK or worsted weight; needles in a size to give you a slightly firm fabric; about 30 beads withholes large enough to allow the beads to be strung onto your yarn; crochet hook that will fitthrough the holes in your beads; a tapestry or sewing needle that will fit through the holes in yourbeads.
