2016 Saint Estephe, Chateau Haut Baradieu

Producer: Chateau Haut Baradieu  Wine: 2016 Saint-Estèphe, Chateau Haut Baradieu Varietals: 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard: 3 hectares, average age of vines are 40 years old.  Density of 6,600 vines per hectare. Vinification: Manual harvest with sorting table.  Tasting Notes: A charming St-Estèphe with velvety tannins and good aging potential. Dusty notes characteristic of the appellation with mint and hints of vanilla.  The palate is round, supple and the tannins are integrated offering a ready to drink wine. Food: Steak with Béarnaise sauce, braised brisket, duck breast with green peppercorns, grilled lamb chops, hard or soft cheeses (Camembert). Cellaring: Drink now or cellar
