Description The SCM50 is the entry point to ATCs no-compromise speakers. Compared to the SCM40, it has upgraded "S" (Super) specification tweeter and midrange with more powerful magnets. The woofer is a 9" unit incorporating "SL" (Super Linear) magnet technology for reduced distortion. Drive units are made in house: 1" ATC soft dome featuring a 2.0 tesla neodymium magnet with dual suspension and no ferrofluid for long life. "S" (Super) spec version of the world famous 3" soft dome midrange, providing low coloration, high power handling capacity and low power compression. The midrange drive incorporates a short coil / long gap configuration supported on dual suspensions.  9.0" ATC "SL" (Super Linear) mid / woofer featuring a short coil / long gap configuration We also sell the larger ATCs, such as the SCM100 (12" woofer) and SCM150 (15" woofer).
