ATC SCM40A (Active) Floorstanding Speaker

Description The SCM40A  (Active) is ATCs lowest cost three-way active speaker. It incorporates the famous ATC soft-dome midrange with the new ATC soft dome and a 6.5" woofer. The cabinet features curved sides and the speaker is a sealed box. Drive units are made in house: 1" ATC soft dome featuring a 1.5 tesla neodymium magnet with dual suspension and no ferrofluid for long life. World famous 3" soft dome midrange, providing low coloration, high power handling capacity and low power compression. The midrange drive incorporates a short coil / long gap configuration supported on dual suspensions. 6.5" ATC mid / woofer featuring a short coil / long gap configuration Each driver has it's own amplifier.
