California Poppy Jewelry Holder, Ceramic Dish with Flower Imprint

California Poppies are the most iconic flower of California, covering the hills in a blanket of vibrant orange-gold throughout the spring.  This ceramic jewelry holder is covered with handpainted California Poppy flowers and has a real 22kt gold accent on the rim. Handmade from start to finish, using flowers only from my own garden, creating a special spot for your rings, earrings, other jewelry, or incense cones.  My use of California Poppies in my art is fully sustainable as I grow my own every year and never use wild grown ones.  This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The flowers are imprinted from an actual poppy flowers and then handpainted with shades of green, orange, and yellow. The glaze is a glossy soft clear.
