
Ancient Neolithic Carnelian Agate Beads CRJ_00300_A
A strand of rare ancient Neolithic carnelian agate beads. Uneartehd from the sands of the Sahara, these beads are well-matched, and in a relatively small size which is rare and desirable for designers and collectors. The beads graduate from 5mm to 9.5mm in diameter and are 3mm - 5mm hole-to-hole. The aperture is hourglass-shaped, with the narrowest point around 1mm widening to about 3.5mm at each opening. The length of the strand including stringing material is about 29 inches, there are about 151 beads per strand.
