A very nice well-matched graduated strand of antique carnelian agate beads.  Some of the beads are ancient with hour-glass apertures, but most are antique.  Found in West Africa.   Bead size: Length: 2mm - 13mm Diameter: graduating from 5mm to 11.5mm  Hole size: 1mm Length of strand including raffia or stringing material: 28 inches Beads per strand: 100 beads Weight: 84g The beads are of venerable age, and some have nicks and chips consistent with age.
