Cyclic "Fulcrum" Blanco 2020
Aberto and Joshua have a passion for fermentation. Cyclic Beer Farm started in 2016 in Barcelona, drawing inspiration from traditional Belgian lambic beers, and expanded into fruit fermentations, ciders and wines. Right off the bat, what’s clear is that this crew likes making playful, thirst quenching stuff that is interesting - say no more! All fruit is sourced from a handful of organic growers in Catalonia, and “Fulcrum” was made in collaboration with Pol Andsnes, an American winemaker who splits time between making wine in Argentina and Catalonia. It may be power of suggestion, but “Fulcrum” has a very beer-like presence, in its refreshing nature, but also in the, dare I say “hoppy” herbaceusness. It’s generous, mild and fun on the palate, with a juicy, clementine and camomile tea kinda feel. Super refreshing at 9.9%, it’s the sports drink of the month. Bruno Sant'ana
