David Hicks on Bathrooms
In the third title of the highly coveted and out-of-print series, legendary British decorator David Hicks narrows his focus to the highly functional and often overlooked bathroom. Lavishly illustrated with photographs of his own designs (he's famous for floating the tub in the center of the room) and historical images of drop-dead gorgeous lavatories from the past (Villa Kerylos and Château de Groussay, to name a few), this is a specialized volume with loads of inspiration and a master class worth of practical advice. This book is in good vintage condition with a small tear and creases to its dust jacket, which is protected in a plastic sleeve. The pages are clean and the volume is well intact. Please see our detailed photos. With their graphic covers and original text, the series of design tomes that Hicks published in the late 1960's and early 1970's are true collector's items. We are offering 5 volumes, each sold separately.
