Straight Bourbon Whiskey, distilled and aged in Tennessee. Crafted and bottled in Kentucky. 114.8 proof cask strength bottling. Aged for 6 years in American white oak barrels. Mash bill: 70% corn, 25% rye, 5% malted barley ​Barrell Bourbon Batch 011 is the culmination of a 2 year long barrel sorting project focused on highlighting a particularly rare and bright flavor note found in only select barrels of Bourbon. The base of this blend is 6-year-old barrels but it contains older barrels as well. ​Raw honey drenched Bing cherries atop toasted sweet corn pudding. Hearty Russian Rye toast soldiers sprinkled with sea salt slathered in maple butter and summer fruit compote. The rich and flavorful grains plunge into soft creaminess and recollects state fair caramel popcorn in the finish, belying the 114.8 proof heat.
