The palate impression though is both finer and tighter with much more mineral influence that is almost pungent on the cuts-like-a-knife detailed flavors that are sleek, racy and super-saline-inflected on the very dry and markedly firm finale that is overtly austere. This is unapologetically built to age and a wine that is going to need it.
