These beautiful, beaded gauntlet gloves are smoked, brain tan moose hide by Charlotte Tendoy, Bannock Tribe and date mid1900s.   Great condition!The leather is subtle, and the fabric lining is in great condition. There are no missing beads. Size: Top to bottom: 14 1/2"Width without fringe: 7 1/2" wide at top of beadworkWidth with fringe: 13 1/2"Beadwork section:6 1/2" high x 7 1/2" wide at top and 5 1/4" wide at bottom of beadwork The Bannock Indians are a Native American tribe of the Great Basin region, particularly what is now Idaho. Their traditional lands include northern Nevada, southeastern Oregon, southern Idaho, and western Wyoming. The Bannocks are closely related to the Northern Paiute tribe and speak a dialect of the Northern Paiute language.
