Native American Gauntlets with floral beadwork pattern - No. Rockies. ca. 1950s (GM226)

Fabulous gauntlet gloves showcasing floral beadwork. Origin is likely to be from one the Northern Rocky Mountain Native American nations such as Crow or Blackfoot. The gloves are commercial leather and possibly purchased from a trading post to be beaded and worn. They date in the mid 20th century - most likely around 1950s. Very nice and beautiful beadwork.
