German WWI Iron Cross 1914 2nd Class-Handsome example with a great finish and light toning. This includes a very short portion of original black and white ribbon. This is maker marked on the ring for “KO”, for the Royal Mint in Berlin. Overall, this is a very good example. History: The German "Iron Cross of 1914" was a military decoration awarded to soldiers during World War I, originally established by King Frederick William III of Prussia in 1813 as a recognition for bravery in battle.
