Under normal lab conditions boron difficult to investigate on it's own as it reacts with air and moisture but depositing a thin film allows thin films of Boron to be investigated by itself. Boron is very hard nad has a very high melting point. B is also more chemically resistant than many other metals. Storage of Boron Targets Boron targets shold be stored in a glove box in an inert atmosphere.
