The most popular, the most instagrammed by cc-followers was the ‘The History of Comic-Con according to Suzka’. Keith Robinette who joined these pioneers in 1971, came into a cafe that was exhibiting my paintings, stopped at the 48x60 painting titled ‘The History of Comic-Con’. He went through the pictorial history and gave me a thumbs up for accuracy.  The History of Comic-Con was created and designed by Suzka, Gaslamp's Comic-Con Painter. She honors the early visionaries Shel Dorf, Richard Alf, Ken Krueger, Mike Towry, Greg Bear, Barry Alfonso, Bob Sourk, and Greg Bear, as she pictorially traces this 40+ year movement. From the first Comic-Minicon in 1970 at the Golden State Hotel (100 attendees) to the Convention Center move in 1991, to the NO-CON in 2020. Suzka has captured this bit of comic history.  Media: Acrylic Size: 48x60 inches PACKING AND DELIVERY a separate charge / PICK-UP available Contact for information regarding display, exhibit or sale.
