1920s French Art Deco Walnut Writing Desk W/ Leather Top

A magnificent 1920s French Art Deco writing desk sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut wood featuring a 4'6" long rectangular top with a beveled edge and rounded corners. The top has been renewed with vintage brown Ralph Lauren leather. The wood showcases a lovely naturally aged patina with a rich brown color. The desk is cased with five storage drawers, all constructed with dovetail joints and metal pulls. The desk is raised on solid reeded legs decorated with traditional hand-carved floral motifs.
