Description Taking this course will give you a solid understanding of how and where to set the air fuel ratio when tuning any engine. A key aspect to choosing the correct AFR is understanding that every engine is different and you can’t approach each tuning job with the same air fuel ratio targets. This course will explain how the air fuel ratio effects combustion, economy and emissions, and in turn how this effects our tuning requirements. You will learn about the different areas of engine operation and how the fuel requirements of the engine vary as load and rpm change. Most importantly though, you will learn a simple four-step approach to deciding on the correct air fuel ratio for your engine.
