ABOUT These cast Art Deco bookends of stylized ram's heads were manufactured by the Cornell Foundry in New York in the 1930s. They appear to have been made by a lost-wax casting process. Marked with a copyright symbol Cornell. CREATOR Cornell Foundry. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1930. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Copper Plate over Pot Metal. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. New felt added on the bottoms. DIMENSIONS H 5.75 in. W 6.25 in. D 3.5 in. HISTORY Unknown.
