ABOUT These cast Art Deco bookends of stylized ram's heads were manufactured by the Cornell Foundry in New York in the 1930s. They appear to have been made by a lost-wax casting process. Marked with a copyright symbol Cornell. CREATOR Cornell Foundry. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1930. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Brass Plate over Pot Metal. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use.
