ABOUT A 19th century silverplate, repousse hip or whiskey flask with expandable lid that untwists into a 2” cup. Stamped with company logo and "quadruple plate 25" underneath. Shown with life size hand model for scale. CREATOR Simpson Hall Miller & Co. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1890. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Silver Plate. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Both cup and flask hold liquid. DIMENSIONS H 5.5 in. W 3.75 in. D 2 in. HISTORY The firm was organized by Samuel Simpson in 1866.
